Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the international Non Food assortment to drive innovation, growth, and sustainable market leadership
  • Identify trends and manage top-sellers through competitive pricing, lifecycle planning, and supplier partnerships
  • Streamline assortments to reduce complexity while safeguarding performance and profitability
  • Oversee the full product development cycle – from market gap analysis to concept creation, packaging design, sourcing, and first delivery
  • Translate market and customer insights into innovative, country-specific assortments for different channels
  • Develop and execute annual and mid-term growth strategies in close collaboration with global teams and Asia-based agents
  • Leverage AI and global sourcing opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a multicultural, cross-functional team – fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance
  • Act as a change ambassador, promoting transformation and embedding a strong customer-centric mindset across departments and countries
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Marketing, Category Management, or Retail – or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of experience in assortment or purchasing, ideally in international retail (brick-and-mortar and e-commerce)
  • Solid knowledge of international assortment structures, preferably in FMCG or fashion, across multiple sales channels
  • Strong understanding of FMCG value chains
  • Proven track record in leading and collaborating with cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • Competence in both direct and functional leadership
  • Broad knowledge of logistics, purchasing, product development, and marketing
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels, with strong intercultural competence
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
