Job summary

SE3 Labs is hiring a Head of Marketing / Communications to build an international brand around its spatial intelligence and autonomy software for unmanned systems. You will work with the founders, engineers, and designers, ideally based in Munich, driving marketing strategy and telling SE3's story to government customers, partners, investors and future colleagues.

About SE3

SE3 Labs builds spatial intelligence and autonomy software for unmanned systems. We combine 3D computer vision, state estimation and AI to help autonomous platforms perceive their surroundings, know where they are and operate when GPS and other sensors become unreliable. Defence is a core application of our work today.

About the Role

As Head of Marketing / Communications, you'll build our marketing team and our brand internationally, telling SE3's story to government customers, industry partners, investors and future colleagues. You'll work closely with our founders, engineers and a strong designer, ideally based with the team in Munich. Excellence in marketing matters more to us than a defence background, and we'll complement you with people who know German defence and security policy in depth.

Your Profile

You take ownership of outcomes and remove obstacles without waiting for direction. You turn discussions into clear decisions and decisions into deliverables, and you hold yourself and your team to a consistently high standard.

You write and tell stories excellently in English, with work to show and clarity about what you did yourself.

You have built a credible brand, ideally for a technology company, and explained complex subjects to different audiences.

You can build and lead a strong marketing team while staying hands‑on.

You have a high quality bar and work well with strong designers.

You speak fluent English; German is a plus. Given the nature of SE3's work in the defence sector, candidates must be eligible to work on defence-related projects and, where required, obtain the relevant security clearance.
