Serving as the senior technology leader reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of IT will lead Signata’s technology strategy, execution, and operations. This role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering innovation across both back office and front office functions.

The Head of IT will manage the organization’s technology portfolio, oversee critical IT projects, and ensure robust infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital capabilities. The role also entails developing internal talent, managing vendor partnerships, and driving continuous process improvement. A strong emphasis will be placed on measurable outcomes through KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Technology Leadership
  • Provide leadership in managing and evolving the organization’s technology portfolio for enablement and innovation.
  • Define and implement an enterprise-wide IT strategy and roadmap aligned with current and future business requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology trends and innovations.
Technology Portfolio & Project Management
  • Manage a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring they meet defined cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
  • Support delivery of software and hardware projects and services across all departments.
  • Establish and enforce technology standards and enterprise architecture.
Operations & Service Excellence
  • Develop and implement internal IT operations policies to meet defined SLAs.
  • Create and monitor KPIs and SLAs to align with stakeholder expectations and business performance goals.
  • Oversee the efficiency and reliability of back office operations through automation and optimization.
  • Drive innovation in core and customer-facing business operations by identifying and recommending viable emerging technologies.
Talent & Vendor Management
  • Identify key skill gaps and work to recruit, train, and retain top IT talent.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric IT culture through mentoring and continuous development.
  • Identify, engage, and manage third-party vendors to ensure quality delivery of outsourced services and projects.
Governance, Risk, & Compliance
  • Ensure the security, stability, and compliance of IT infrastructure, systems, and data.
  • Lead IT governance and develop policies to support business continuity, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
  • Oversee risk mitigation, incident response, and audit preparedness.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success managing IT operations, enterprise architecture, and complex project portfolios.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven leadership in defining IT strategy, driving innovation, and delivering business-aligned technology solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to define, measure, and report on KPIs and SLAs.
