About us

We are seeking a “Head of Global EHS (m/w/d)*” to define and govern the global strategy for Environment, Health, and Safety. Implementation is carried out in close collaboration with EHS representatives from the Business Units and sites, who are empowered and supported by the EHS Office. The role focuses on defining the global EHS strategy and enabling the organization to apply these frameworks effectively while fostering a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement. The Head of Global EHS leads international teams and acts as a hands‑on strategic partner to shape a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment across all global locations. It reports directly to the Management Board.

Your Contribution
  • Defines and aligns the global EHS strategy with corporate goals; advises senior management on risks, opportunities and measures for improvement
  • Develops and enforces global EHS policies and ensures compliance through overseeing audits, inspections, and performance monitoring across all sites
  • Identifies and mitigates environmental and operational risks; ensures adherence to legal and internal standards
  • Strongly promotes a proactive safety culture and drives integration of EHS into daily business operations worldwide
  • Fosters continuous improvement in EHS performance and facilitates Best Practice Sharing across all company locations
  • Leads and develops a global EHS team
Your Profile
  • University Degree (Master) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualification as “Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa)” desired
  • Min. 8 years in a comparable management Position
  • Practical experience in production, process optimization and change Management
  • Strong leadership skills; able to drive change; experience in working within a cross‑functional, multinational matrix environment
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills; excellent communication and project management skills
  • Fluency in English and German
