QuantumDiamonds is seeking a transformative Head of Finance to own the finance function end-to-end, building the financial backbone for a scaling deep-tech hardware company – from reporting, controlling, treasury, and public funding to the financial infrastructure supporting global equipment deliveries.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the leadership team, board, investors, and external partners to shape the company's financial strategy and operational excellence.

As Head of Finance, you will own finance end-to-end, laying the financial foundation for a scaling deep-tech hardware company – from reporting, controlling, treasury, and public funding to the financial infrastructure supporting global equipment deliveries.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the leadership team, board, investors, and external partners to shape the company's financial strategy and operational excellence. This is a hands-on build role with a clear growth trajectory. Within your first 12–18 months, you will establish scalable financial processes, strengthen governance and controls, build a high-performing finance function, and create the foundation for international growth and future financing rounds. For the right person, the role offers a clear path toward CFO as the company scales.

What will you do

• Own the finance function end-to-end, including accounting, controlling, treasury, tax, compliance, and financial operations
• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting under HGB, while building IFRS readiness to support future financing, audits, and international growth
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and business partnering across R&D, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions
• Build the financial backbone for global capital equipment deliveries, including multi-currency operations, FX management, hedging, export considerations, and international invoicing
• Manage large-scale European Chips Act funding and other public funding programs, including financial reporting, cost statements, audits, and compliance with funding authorities
