deepsafety is an AI safety company founded out of TomTom’s Autonomous Driving R&D in 2019. Our product AiDAR™ is a camera-only 3D perception system for safety-critical applications. AiDAR™ powers humanoid robots in warehouses, production, and defense.

Responsibilities

We're seeking a Head of Finance to join our team and be responsible for managing R&D Grants, maintaining our cash flow, defining, integrating and automating our workflows, and reporting to our founders and investors. Ideally, you have a background in Venture Capital or in a startup that has recently raised VC. You’ll be coordinating with our tax advisor for financial and salary accounting, and you’ll be working with a diverse and international team of excellent researchers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Accounting in Germany using e.g. DATEV, Addison, or SevDesk
• Experience in maintaining Cash Flow, using e.g. Tidely
• Optionally experience managing R&D Grants
• Optionally experience raising Venture Capital
• Optionally experience in automation using AI agents
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in German and English
