ZEISS seeks a consolidation expert to lead the preparation, analysis, and review of the group’s consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS. You will serve as the primary contact for consolidation topics and ensure accuracy in reporting to external auditors.

You will drive the rollout of a new consolidation tool, oversee related projects, and lead a talented team toward continuous process improvements across the international ZEISS operations.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in international audit or group accounting in a multinational.
• Deep expertise in accounting and consolidation under IFRS standards.
• Proven success in leading projects and teams.
• Fluent English; German is advantageous but not required.

• Ensure IFRS compliance and act as main contact for consolidation matters.

Your Role

• Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and review of the consolidated financial statements for the ZEISS Group
• Ensure compliance with both internal accounting policies and external regulations, according to IFRS
• Serve as the main point of contact for all consolidation-related matters
• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and represent consolidation topics professionally to external auditors
• Provide clear and comprehensive information during the financial reporting process
• Project lead for the implementation of a new consolidation tool
• Handle special consolidation-related assignments as required
• Drive the digital transformation and process optimization of group consolidation activities
• Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve high performance

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Extensive experience working in an international audit firm and/or in group accounting within a multinational corporation
• Deep expertise in accounting and consolidation under IFRS standards
• Proven success in project management
• Experience in leading teams
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as ERP and consolidation software (e.g., SAP SEM/BCS)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is not mandatory but a strong advantage
