Job summary

MAM Gruppe Limited in Frankfurt seeks Head of Compliance (Interim) to lead a team of 5-7 professionals and own the corporate compliance management system across jurisdictions.

You will drive human rights due diligence, ABAC and AML programs, advise the board, and collaborate across functions to embed compliant practices. Fluent German and English required; hybrid work with three on-site days.

Qualifications

• Must be a Volljurist with state exams.
• Experience across consulting, private practice and in-house roles.
• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance systems.

Head of Compliance (Interim, 6 Months) – Frankfurt

About the Role:

You will lead and develop a team of 5-7 compliance and legal professionals, owning the corporate compliance management system and driving preventive programmes across human rights, anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC), and anti-money laundering (AML).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 5-7 compliance and legal professionals
• Own the corporate compliance management system and keep improving it across the jurisdictions the business operates in
• Drive the human rights agenda, including supply chain due diligence and associated reporting
• Run preventive ABAC and AML programmes – policy, controls, and monitoring
• Advise senior management and the board on compliance and regulatory questions
• Work closely with teams across the business to keep compliance practical and embedded
• Manage relationships with regulators, external counsel, and other key stakeholders

Your Profile:

• Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist, both state exams)
• Experience across both consulting/private practice and in-house roles, ideally at more than one organisation
• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance systems, with a focus on prevention
• Good grounding in human rights topics, ABAC, and AML
• Proven team leadership experience
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
• Fluent German and English
• Location: Frankfurt

• Team: 5-7 direct reports
• Hybrid role 3 days per week on site
