Job summary

GlobalDots seeks a hands-on Head of Business Systems & IT to lead and evolve its internal IT landscape, business systems, and technology operations. You will own Salesforce configuration, administration, optimization, and ongoing development to support sales and business processes.

The role requires strategic thinking with hands-on technical depth, ownership of CRM and integrations, and a focus on automation, data quality, security, and scalable cloud infrastructure across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven senior IT leadership experience (CIO/Head of IT or similar).
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration, administration, customization, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the IT roadmap aligning systems and investments with business goals.
• Own Salesforce configuration, administration, customization and ongoing development to support sales and operations.
• Oversee core business applications and integrations for reliable data flows and collaboration.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and operations, with emphasis on AWS optimization and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and leverage AI-powered tools for efficiency.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of internal systems and IT services.
• Improve data quality, system visibility, and reporting for informed decisions.
• Manage vendors, licensing, and IT budgets balancing needs and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and other teams to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems to drive architecture, integration, governance, and efficiency improvements.

The role:

We're looking for a hands‑on Head of Business Systems & IT to lead and evolve GlobalDots' internal IT landscape, business systems, and technology operations.

This is a strategic leadership role with a strong emphasis on execution. You'll be responsible for ensuring our internal systems, infrastructure, and business applications support the company's growth, efficiency, and security.

We're looking for someone who can think strategically while remaining close to the technology itself, with proven, hands‑on Salesforce experience, and who can take ownership of our CRM ecosystem, optimize business processes, and drive automation and integration across the organization. AWS experience is a major advantage.

What you'll own:

• Define and implement the company's IT roadmap, aligning systems, infrastructure, and technology investments with business objectives.
• Take hands‑on responsibility for Salesforce configuration, administration, customization, optimization, and ongoing development, ensuring the platform effectively supports sales and business operations.
• Own the company's core business applications and integrations, ensuring reliable data flows and efficient collaboration between systems.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure and operations, with AWS experience particularly valuable for managing, optimizing, and scaling cloud environments.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual processes, and leverage AI‑powered tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, security, and scalability of internal systems, infrastructure, and corporate IT services.
• Improve data quality, system visibility, and reporting capabilities to support informed decision‑making across the organization.
• Manage technology partners, software vendors, licensing, and IT budgets, balancing business needs with cost efficiency.
• Work closely with leadership and teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, and other business functions to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and processes, identify gaps, and drive improvements in architecture, integrations, governance, and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, such as CIO, Head of IT, Director of IT, or a similar position.
• Strong, hands‑on Salesforce experience is a must. You have personally configured, administered, customized, and optimized Salesforce in a business environment.
• Solid understanding of CRM architecture, business processes, system integrations, automation, and data management.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and driving implementation from concept to production.
• Broad knowledge of corporate IT, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and information security.
• A hands‑on, execution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to move between strategic planning and technical problem‑solving.
• Experience leading technology initiatives across multiple business functions and managing external vendors and technology partners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical teams.
• An analytical, proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.

Nice to have:

Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and automation tools.

AWS experience, particularly with cloud infrastructure, architecture, security, cost optimization, and operational management.

Familiarity with ERP, finance, RevOps, and other business‑critical systems.

Experience implementing AI‑driven workflows and automation.

Experience in a fast‑growing technology company, SaaS business, or global organization.

Experience managing IT budgets, software licensing, compliance, and technology governance.
