Jobtailor in Hanau is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable leader to manage a team of up to ten specialists within the Shared Services Finance Center Hanau. You will ensure accurate and timely close from the AP perspective and drive process improvements across entities.

Required are five-plus years in AP, SAP FI/MM, Readsoft, and German/English proficiency. Strong IT affinity and project leadership are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration or a completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience.
• More than five years of professional experience in Accounts Payable.
• Initial leadership experience (e.g., functional leadership of a small team).
• Very good knowledge of SAP FI and SAP MM, particularly in Accounts Payable.
• Very good knowledge of Readsoft or comparable tools.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Business‑fluent in spoken and written German and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of up to ten accounts payable specialists across 1–20 Heraeus legal entities, ensuring a legally compliant financial close from the Accounts Payable perspective within the Shared Services Finance Center Hanau.
• Identify and implement process improvement measures and actively participate in projects for system migrations or integration of additional entities; assume project leadership when required.
• Perform internal control functions within the Shared Services Finance Center, coordinating with representatives of other corporate functions, internal customers, and external suppliers.
• Process incoming invoices from receipt to payment, resolve discrepancies with Purchasing or suppliers, handle dunning processes, maintain accounts and execute periodic month-end closing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with approved service level agreements for Accounts Payable.
• Interact with external partners and support improvement measures for the units in Germany, Europe and the United States.
