Neura Robotics is seeking a Group Lead Data Operations for RoboGym to lead a team of data operators and interns, ensuring high-quality data collection and efficient operations in our NEURAGym facility.

You will drive KPI tracking, process improvements, and hiring efforts while coordinating with robotics and AI development staff to translate technical needs into talent strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience leading teams in production/industrial environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with robotics, AI, automation or related tech is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead a hands-on data operations team and interns.
• Run the shop floor: structure and optimize daily NEURAGym processes; ensure data quality and documentation.
• Track KPIs to optimize shift scheduling and remove blockers.
• Organize structured meetings to share knowledge and resolve issues.
• Support hiring and interview processes, including candidate evaluation.
• Act as contact for project stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate talent deployment for data collection campaigns with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with robotics/AI staff to align hiring and skills development with technical challenges.

Physical AI can't be trained on internet data alone. Robots need to learn skills in the real world — by observing, interacting with, and operating in real environments. That's the idea behind NEURA Gym: a global network of physical training centers where robots learn industrial tasks/skills directly from experienced human operators/ the people who know these processes inside out.

Group Lead Data Operations - RoboGym, you’ll lead the team of data operators, the people who are the closest to our robots, and who keep the NEURAGym, our data production factory, up and running.

Your mission & challenges

• Lead a hands‑on team of experienced data operators as well as data operator interns, the latter eager to fully commit and contribute to collecting highest quality data, and to gain close‑by experience on cognitive robotics, in the early stage of their future career.

• "Run the shop floor": contribute to continuously structuring and optimizing the daily processes in the NEURAGym, ensuring and improving data and process quality, as well as documentation and project execution standards.

• Contribute to ensuring data production efficiency by rigorously determining and tracking KPIs to optimize shifting schedules and eliminate blockers in operations, use case and work place design.

• Foster knowledge sharing and awareness of current operations issues and solutions in the team by organizing and owning structured meeting slots during the work day.

• Contribute to hiring and interview processes, including candidate evaluation.

• Act as a point of contact for project stakeholders and leadership.

• In coordination with internal and customer project stakeholders, ensure that the right talents from the data operators staff get deployed to a data collection campaign to drive it to success.

• Be in close alignment and follow robotics and AI development staff on a technical level to be able to understand technical challenges and support solving them by distilling your technical insights into an appropriate hiring and skills development strategy.

What we can look forward to

• Experience in managing teams in a production environment

• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to problem‑solving.

• Comfortable working with technical topics, even if not directly involved in development.

• Programming experience with C++ and Python, as well as experience with Embedded Computing, real‑time operating systems, and networking stacks, are a plus.

• Experience with robotics, AI, automation, or emerging technologies is a plus.

• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
