Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaft, Volkswirtschaft oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
  • Mehrere Jahre Controlling/Finance-Erfahrung, idealerweise im Retail oder FMCG.
  • Ausgeprägte Finanzmodellierungsfähigkeiten und MS Excel-Kenntnisse.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit BI-Tools und multidimensionalem Reporting.
  • Analytische Stärke und Verständnis finanzieller Zusammenhänge.
  • Proaktive, eigenständige Arbeitsweise und Veränderungskompetenz.
  • Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch.

Aufgaben

  • Kapitalmärkte-Reporting entwickeln und integrierte Finanz- und Equity-Story erstellen.
  • Monatliche, quartalsweise und jährliche Analyse von P&L, Bilanz und Cashflow.
  • Forecasts, Budgets und Mittelfristplanung erstellen und Abweichungen analysieren.
  • Reportingprozesse mit Group Accounting koordinieren und sicherstellen.
  • Berichte und Entscheidungsvorlagen zu KPIs erstellen; Risiken und Chancen betonen.
  • Sparringspartner für Group Controlling; Vorstand beraten.
  • Weiterentwicklung von Group-Planung, Forecasting und KPI-Prozesse.
  • Mitwirkung an Group-weiten Finanzprojekten, z.B. Post-Merger-Integration.

Jobbeschreibung

TASKS WITH IMPACT
  • Manage and continuously develop capital markets reporting, including an integrated financial and equity story for the DOUGLAS Group, in close collaboration with Group Accounting and Investor Relations
  • Analyze and comment on the monthly, quarterly and annual business and financial performance of the DOUGLAS Group and its international subsidiaries, with a focus on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Manage and analyze recurring forecasts, annual budgets and mid-term plans, including variance analyses versus prior year, budget and latest estimate, and translate results into management-relevant insights
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting activities with Group Accounting and local Finance teams, ensuring timely, complete and consistent reporting in line with Group standards
  • Prepare reports, presentations and decision-making materials on financial and non-financial capital market and steering KPIs, highlighting key performance drivers, risks, opportunities and implications for guidance
  • Act as a commercial sparring partner for Group Controlling teams, including Functional Controlling, and advise the Management Board on financial performance
  • Drive the continuous development and governance of Group-wide planning, forecasting, reporting and KPI processes to enhance reporting quality, financial transparency and effective business steering
  • Contribute to operational and Group-wide Finance projects, including post-merger integration and the harmonization of financial reporting, controlling standards, systems and processes
YOUR SKILLS
  • Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification, combined with sound knowledge of Controlling and Finance
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, an auditing firm or a comparable Finance environment, ideally within Retail or FMCG
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Confident use of BI and multidimensional reporting tools, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate dashboards and decision-making materials
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial and business interdependencies
  • Proactive and independent working style, with the ability to actively contribute to and shape change in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and management levels
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
