Job summary

REPA Deutschland GmbH seeks a Data Engineer to support data ingestion between Microsoft Fabric and Google Cloud Platform and to maintain robust data pipelines. You will ensure data quality, monitor data flows, and collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to meet data requirements.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Germany with opportunities for professional growth and participation in enterprise data platform initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration or BI.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Certifications like GCP Data Engineer / Azure Data Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services or similar.
• Strong SQL and data transformation experience.
• Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation and validation.
• Experience with ERP/CRM data is a plus.
• Understanding of data modelling and lakehouse concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support data ingestion processes from Microsoft Fabric into Google Cloud Platform and vice versa.

• Support ongoing optimization and improvement initiatives across the data platform.
• Assist in onboarding new data sources and integrations.

Job Description

• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data transformation processes.
• Experience building, monitoring, or supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Understanding of data quality, reconciliation and validation processes.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP, CRM or business application data is an advantage.
• Understanding of data modelling and lakehouse concepts is beneficial.
