Job Description/Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking and results-oriented Global Smart Module Segment Marketing Manager to lead global marketing efforts within our Smart Module/system on module (SOM)/system on chip (SOC) business. This role will be responsible for developing and executing targeted strategies that position our smart modules for success across diverse verticals including industrial IoT, smart cities, healthcare, robotics, AR/VR, automotive and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the AI/IoT sector, with specific experience in smart modules or embedded wireless technology. This person will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, creating tailored promotional content, and driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the global marketing strategy for the smart module segment, aligning with overall business goals and product roadmaps.
  • Define target markets, segment positioning and messaging based on in-depth customer, industry, and competitor analysis.
  • Research and evaluate emerging market opportunities and new customer segments to expand our smart module market share.
  • Identify customer purchasing drivers to guide strategic decisions in product positioning, marketing and sales.
  • Create and manage compelling promotional campaigns and content to engage new and existing audiences and support the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, sales, field application engineering (FAE) and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency across global initiatives.
  • Devise and execute digital marketing efforts (web, email, social media, paid campaigns) to enhance visibility and demand generation for smart modules.
  • Represent the company as a subject matter expert at global industry events, tradeshow and webinars.
  • Track KPIs and analyze the performance of campaigns to refine and improve marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marketing Manager in the IoT space, with direct experience in smart modules/SOM/SOC, single board computers (SBC) or embedded wireless technologies preferred.
  • Experience of marketing devices based on Qualcomm Snapgradon and Dragonwing chipsets, Mediatek Genio and Rockchip chipsets
  • Familiar with is familiar with NXP i.MX8, Ambarella processors, TI, Renesas or similar MCUs
  • Experience in IoT verticals where devices with Android and Linux OS are present
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new market segments and develop high-impact marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of smart module use cases, market trends and customer pain points across multiple verticals.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication and content development skills.
  • Proficient with digital marketing tools, CRM systems and analytics platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills, especially in a global and cross-functional environment.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and growth.
