Global Partner Services Manager

Role Purpose

The Global Partner Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper service levels to both existing and new partners, with a primary focus on automation support. Key tasks include managing global partner conferences, developing a technical-level support structure, and handling order support. This role plays a critical part in shaping the partner landscape, identifying whitespace opportunities, and ensuring alignment with legal and operational frameworks across regions. While the main accountability for global partner sales rests with the HUBs, the allocation and assignment of new partners will be done in collaboration with the HUBs.

Key Responsibilities
Global Partner Infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain a scalable global partner infrastructure that supports business growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that partner systems, tools, and processes align with business needs.
Strategy Creation & Execution
  • Define and implement global partner growth strategies that align with division objectives and HUBs.
  • Lead go‑to‑market planning with partners, including sales enablement, marketing, and performance forecasting.
Market Expansion & White Space Analysis
  • Conduct whitespace analysis to identify untapped markets, sectors, and partnership opportunities.
  • Develop action plans to penetrate new geographies and industries, leveraging data‑driven insights.
  • In alignment with HUBs, assign new partners to drive automation growth.
Partner Engagement & Conferences
  • Organize and manage global partner conferences, workshops, and executive check‑ins to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic partners, acting as a trusted advisor and growth catalyst.
Legal & Compliance Framework
  • Ensure that all partner agreements and activities comply with global legal standards and internal governance policies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage contracts, incentives, and conflict resolution mechanisms.
  • Oversee integrity management throughout the partner landscape, including the detection of potential integrity risks.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment and scalability.
  • Partner with HR, HUBs, and operations teams to embed customer experience into internal processes.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you bring a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. You have over 10 years of experience in partner management, business development, or strategic growth roles, with a proven track record in building and scaling global partner ecosystems. Your strong analytical skills, combined with extensive experience in market analysis and strategic planning, enable you to identify key growth opportunities. You excel in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels across regions and functions. You are also familiar with legal frameworks and compliance standards in global business environments. Experience with Salesforce or similar partner management platforms is essential. Knowledge of ABB’s partner and channel management processes is a plus.
