What you'll do
- Align and report all relevant decisions to Platform Manager and Senior Platform Architects, ensuring proper service strategy implementation within projects
- Design and implement automation solutions, and API integrations to streamline LAN/WLAN network operations, leveraging AIOps and advanced analytics to enhance network performance and reliability
- Create and continuously update service domain-relevant documentation, including designs, automation workflows, and integration reports
- Support projects related to the optimization and modernization of Knauf Office Networks, such as LAN/WLAN infrastructure refreshment, DDI solution deployment, and automation-driven network enhancements
- Supervise and audit IT hardening activities, particularly focusing on the rollout of the firewall and ensuring compliance with security standards
Who you are
- Hold a Diploma or Master's degree in Computer Science, or possess equivalent business experience
- You have extensive experience in LAN/WLAN network managing and implementation, with a proven track record in LAN/WLAN architecture roles for large-scale global networks (10,000+ users) including routing, switching, segmentation, and network security
- Experienced in Network Design of LAN and WLAN in a Cisco environment with relevant Cisco certification (CCNA minimum; CCNP/CCIE preferred)
- Proficient in network automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform), experienced in implementing AIOps solutions to enhance network operations, knowledgeable in Cisco SD-Access technology and management tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco TrustSec)
- Familiar with API development and integration, particularly with platforms like ServiceNow, to enable automated workflows and improve operational efficiency.
