Global Mobility Solution Architect (f/m/d)
Lead the design, co‑lead the implementation and rollout of Siemens Energy’s next‑generation Global Mobility Management (GMM) IT solution. This role requires a sound understanding of data models and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, ServiceNow) and will architect the transition from the current service model of Siemens AG GBS to an internally owned platform, enabling cost reduction, operational independence, and seamless integration into Siemens Energy’s multi‑interface ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Impact
- Solution Architecture & Ownership: Architect the end‑to‑end GMM IT solution, replacing SAG GBS dependencies; define and maintain the technical blueprint for mobility workflows including Long‑Term Delegations (LTD), Business Travel Plus (BT+), and alternative assignment models.
- Rollout Strategy & Technical Waves: Develop and execute a phased rollout strategy using technical waves aligned with business priorities and system readiness.
- Innovation & Automation: Implement AI‑driven features (e.g., for cost estimation, risk alerts, and document automation such as A1, PWD).
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external service providers to align solution capabilities with business needs; serve as the technical lead in cross‑functional workshops and sign‑off calls.
What You Bring
- Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Longstanding experience in IT architecture for HR or mobility platforms, including cloud platforms for data and service management (e.g., Snowflake, ServiceNow) and Service Management experience proven by relevant certifications.
- Deep understanding of GMM processes including pre‑assignment, on‑assignment, and post‑assignment stages.
- Strong grasp of integration methodologies (APIs, SSO, HRIS, payroll systems) and database design.
- Experience with GDPR, global data privacy, and secure vendor management; experience with Siemens Energy systems and organizational structure is a plus.
- Ability to lead technical workshops and translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in both German and English.
