Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a senior procurement professional to develop and implement a global CAPEX and Facility Management category strategy, manage complex tenders, and drive cost savings across functions.

The role requires 5–10 years in strategic sourcing, SAP MM in S/4HANA, BI, English and German fluency, strong stakeholder management, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• 5–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing (CAPEX, construction and Facility Management environments a plus).
• Fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication.
• Willingness to travel at least 30%.

• Carrying out complex CAPEX/Facility Mangement tenders on a global level and supporting implementation in cooperation with the departments (Engineering etc.)
• Supplier relationship management (contract management, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and escalation management)

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and German, additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Chinese, or Portuguese) are a plus
• Strong stakeholder management skills
