Delivery Hero is seeking a Global Agency Director to shape and lead the overarching agency strategy across markets. Based in Berlin, you will serve as the executive architect of our global relationships with top advertising holding companies and international networks.

You will drive multi-region JBPs, negotiate global trading agreements, and build London market presence while partnering with regional teams to translate global commitments into local revenue.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of senior commercial leadership in digital advertising, retail media networks, or global agency holding groups.
• Extensive C-suite relationships across global agency holding companies, especially London and Europe, with demonstrated enablement programs.
• Proven success closing complex, multi‑million‑dollar global agency partnerships across regions and currencies.
• Strategic leadership and stakeholder management in a matrixed, international environment.
• Retail media expertise with programmatic/off-site ad products, data partnerships, DSPs, and first‑party data activation.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the global agency commercial roadmap, aligning across holding company networks and major global buying desks.
• Structure and negotiate JBPs, global trading agreements, and rebate frameworks across multi-market ad spend.
• Build a commanding London market presence through executive summits, strategic alignment sessions, and reviews.
• Partner with regional agency sales leads to cascade global commitments into local execution and revenue capture.
• Represent Delivery Hero Retail Media at major industry events and lead educational initiatives on retail media innovation.

Job Description

Delivery Hero is seeking a Global Agency Director to shape and lead our overarching agency strategy across all markets.

Based in our European headquarter, Berlin, you will serve as the executive architect of our global relationships with top advertising holding companies (e.g., WPP, Publicis, Omnicom, IPG, Dentsu, Havas) and international independent networks.

With London serving as a primary operational hub for global agency trading and decision-making, you will frequently meet in-person with C-level agency executives to close multi-region Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and entrench Delivery Hero as a tier-one global retail media partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Agency Strategy: Design and execute the global agency commercial roadmap, driving top-down alignment across all holding company networks and major global buying desks.
• Master Commercial Agreements: Structure and negotiate global Joint Business Plans (JBPs), global trading agreements, and centralized rebate frameworks that unlock multi-market ad spend across our brand portfolio (Talabat, foodpanda, PedidosYa, Glovo).
• London Market Presence: Build a commanding presence within the London agency ecosystem, conducting regular executive summits, strategic alignment sessions, and commercial reviews with global media leads.
• Regional Enablement & Alignment: Partner with regional agency sales leads (MENA, APAC, LATAM, Europe) to cascade global agency commitments into local execution and revenue capture.
• Thought Leadership & Representation: Act as the global face of Delivery Hero Retail Media at major industry events (e.g., Cannes Lions, DMEXCO) and lead high-level educational initiatives on quick-commerce retail media innovation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in digital advertising, retail media networks, or global agency holding groups.
• Agency Network and Enablement: Deep, proven C-suite relationships across global agency holding company decision-makers, global trading directors, and international media planning teams, particularly in London and Europe, and demonstrated experience launching and scaling comprehensive agency training and enablement programs to maximize partner engagement.
• Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated success structuring and closing complex, multi‑million‑dollar global agency partnerships across multiple regions and currencies.
