Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Schwerpunkt Java-Backend (4+ Jahre).

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join a collaborative, self-managing development squad. While this is a comprehensive full-stack role, deep expertise in Java backend engineering forms the central pillar of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development Focus: Architect, code, and maintain scalable backend microservices and API integrations using modern Java frameworks (Jakarta EE / Quarkus) within a self-organized Scrum workflow.
• Frontend Delivery: Build modern, intuitive user interfaces and deliver end-to-end features utilizing TypeScript and Angular.
• Architecture & Tech Ownership: Play an active role in tech stack selections, system architecture, and application security measures.
• Quality & Best Practices: Produce clean, scalable code following established Clean Code standards, while participating in peer code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Team Synergy: Collaborate closely alongside 5–10 engineering colleagues, Product Owners, and cross-functional partners in an open, low-hierarchy team dynamic.

Profile & Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

• Professional Experience: 4+ years of hands-on full-stack engineering experience, with a clear emphasis on Java backend technologies.
• Backend Mastery: Strong proficiency with modern Java frameworks (Jakarta EE, Quarkus, or equivalent Enterprise Java environments such as Spring Boot).
• Frontend Competence: Solid practical skills in building user interfaces with TypeScript and Angular.
• Software Engineering Standards: In-depth knowledge of Clean Code principles, software design patterns, application security, and version control using Git/GitHub.
• Location & Language: C2-level command of German (written and oral) alongside current legal residency in Germany.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to visit the headquarters in Kiel 1 to 4 times per year for team events (all travel costs completely covered).

Optional / Advantageous Skills:

• Prior domain experience in Healthcare IT, MedTech, SaaS, or clinic management software.
• Hands-on familiarity with designing scalable and secure microservice architectures.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, automated CI/CD pipelines, or modern DevOps practices.
