Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be a versatile and proactive individual capable of handling a wide range of duties to ensure our base remains safe, clean, and fully operational. This role is essential for the day-to-day smooth functioning of all base facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Groundskeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the base grounds, including landscaping, trash removal, and general upkeep.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose common issues with equipment and facilities, and either resolve them or escalate more complex problems to the appropriate specialist.
  • Preventative Care: Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Tool & Equipment Management: Maintain and care for all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition and properly stored.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.
Desired Qualifications
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a general maintenance or similar role. Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.

Physical Requirements
