Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger accounting and period-end closing under HGB.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, corporate income tax, and tax compliance workflows.
• Proficiency with SAP FI and master data maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate audits and tax inspections, liaise with tax advisors.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting & Period-End Closing
• Handle GL transactions including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, foreign currency valuation, and intercompany reconciliation.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Statutory & Management Reporting: prepare the HGB balance sheet, income statement, and notes.
• Review the China financial monthly report, PBC, and related key tables.
• Tax Compliance & Filing: review daily tax consultations and tax-related processing.
• Audit & Tax Inspection: coordinate document preparation, detail verification, issue response, and remediation follow-up.
• SAP FI & Master Data Maintenance: maintain GL accounts and related financial master data.
• Financial Compliance & Internal Controls: review important accounting vouchers and abnormal items, drive policy implementation.

Responsible for maintaining the company's core ledgers and ensuring HGB compliance, leading month-end and year-end closing, and statutory financial reporting, while liaising with audit and tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting & Period-End Closing
• Handle GL transactions including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, foreign currency valuation, and intercompany reconciliation.
