Datascope Recruitment is seeking a seasoned game designer for mobile F2P titles. You will own the design process from concept to tuning, balancing levels, and shipping improvements post-launch, leveraging player data to optimize retention and engagement.

You’ll collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team, using Unity to build levels and mechanics, and applying UX thinking and player psychology to create compelling experiences.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years experience in F2P mobile design; shipped at least one commercially successful title from concept to launch.
• Strong knowledge of casual / hybrid casual / mid-core mechanics.
• Practical Unity + Excel experience.
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow.
• Great communication, comfortable in a small team.

You’ll own the whole design process, from early ideas and research to prototyping, building content, and shipping improvements post-launch. You’ll help shape gameplay systems that feel great, and use player data to keep improving the experience.

• Real passion for mobile games (F2P especially) - Solid game design + UX thinking, plus player psychology
• 3+ years experience in F2P mobile design - Shipped at least one commercially successful title (concept to launch)
• Strong knowledge of casual / hybrid casual / mid-core mechanics
• Practical Unity + Excel experience
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow
• Great communication, comfortable in a small team

Nice to have

• Can dig into game data and draw insights without always needing analysts/PMs
• Experience in small teams (~7 people) or startups
• Can mock up wireframes / early UI ideas when needed
