Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Analog Devices, Inc. invites graduates to join a structured Field Applications Engineer program in a global setting. You will work on meaningful customer projects across intelligent systems, with mentors guiding growth and increasing ownership.
You will learn to design and debug hardware/software solutions, participate in live customer designs, and develop technical storytelling and collaboration skills for diverse teams across ADI’s network.
Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds. Our technologies enable customers to sense, measure, connect and interpret the world around us—helping turn breakthrough ideas into meaningful impact at the Intelligent Edge.
You have spent years learning how technology works. Now help create what it can become. At ADI, you will join a global technology leader where engineering meets AI and the physical world. From day one, your ideas will matter as you experiment, build and solve alongside talented people creating technologies that transform how we move, work, communicate and care for the world around us. Bring your curiosity, creativity and perspective to a team that values different ways of thinking. Whether your strengths are in electronics, software, data, AI or connecting ideas across disciplines, you will have the support, tools and freedom to turn bold ideas into working technology. You do not need to arrive with every answer; we are looking for people with the potential and determination to discover better ones.
As a Graduate Field Applications Engineer, you will work on meaningful challenges with customers shaping intelligent vehicles, robotics, industrial automation, healthcare, energy and connected systems. Experienced mentors and a global community will champion your growth, while giving you the ownership and visibility to make an impact. If you want to build technology with real‑world purpose, learn quickly and help define the future of intelligent systems, you can do that here.
Your first 12-18 months are designed as an engineering launchpad not a classroom-only training scheme. You will learn by building, experimenting and solving real customer problems, with increasing ownership as your confidence grows. The programme includes:
Fluency in English and the local language of the assigned territory; additional languages are highly valued
A valid driving licence and passport, or the ability to obtain them before taking on independent customer responsibilities.
Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
You turn an ambitious idea into working technology building, testing and demonstrating a solution that creates real value for a customer. Customers trust your perspective because you understand their goals, their system and the technology that can move them forward. You help shape important design decisions, connecting technical possibilities with customer priorities and commercial opportunity. You become a confident problem‑solver, drawing on the right people, tools and ideas from across ADI to overcome complex challenges. Your insight influences what ADI builds next, bringing customer needs and emerging technology trends back into the organisation. You complete the programme ready to lead customer engagements, take ownership and build a career creating technologies that matter and impactful business outcomes.
