Zusammenfassung

Qualifikationen

  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records.

Description

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist to support the US Air Force Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) program at the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility Polygone in Oberambach, Germany.

Target salary is $105k.

COBRA provides for the implementation, integration, development, and delivery oftraining and technologysolutions to support the US Air Force, Department of Defense, and mission partner multi-domain operations (MDO) within the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) strategy.

Overview:

The Logistics Management Specialist provides analytical support to the 19th Electronic Warfare Squadron (19EWS) by coordinating, evaluating, and executing organizationallogisticsfunctions. The Specialist oversees the full lifecycle of supplies, equipment, and materials, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, accountability, storage, and final disposition. The Logistics Management Specialist applies establishedlogisticsprocedures, inventory management principles, andsupply-chainbest practices to ensureaccuratetracking, readiness, and availability of resourcesrequiredto support 19EWS operations.

Logistics Management Specialist will:

  • Supervises and performs item and monetary accounting, stock control, inventory management, and supply documentation functions.
  • Responsible forcomputing material requirements,determiningallowances, researching equipment needs, andmaintainingrecords to ensureaccurateaccountability of organizational property.
  • Conduct receipt, inspection, identification, and storage of materials, andperformperiodic inventories to verify accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Prepareof items for shipment, verification and tracking of incoming and outgoing materials, and coordination of transportation arrangements.
  • Operates automatedlogisticssystems,specialpurposegovernment vehicles, and materialhandling equipment as required for storage, movement, or distribution functions.
  • Support internallogisticsplanning,provide assessmentfor process improvement, and ensure allsupplyrelatedactions adhere to applicable standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Participate in formal/informal training events as required/directed to maintain tactical/technical skills.
  • Contract position will support any additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Ten (10) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with automated logistics or property accountability systems (e.g., DPAS, GCSS-Air Force, or similar government/enterprise tools.)
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures, supply documentation, and standard warehousing practices.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to certify.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment/materials in accordance with safety requirements.
  • US Citizen and Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with USAF or DoD supply, logistics, or property accountability processes.
  • Familiarity with Air Force Technical Orders, supply systems, and property management regulations.
  • Experience coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, customs documentation, or international freight (especially EU/Germany.)
  • Experience working in a multinational or joint-service environment.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CPL, CPIM, DLA courses, or equivalent.)
  • Experience operating special-purpose government vehicles or warehouse equipment.
  • Basic financial awareness related to funds control, cost tracking, or budget-influencing logistics decisions.
  • 3+ years working in an international environment or organization.
