Fullstack Engineer - TypeScript & AWS (m/w/d)

Location: Berlin, DE

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, functional code with automated tests.
• Use modern technologies such as AI and contribute new ideas for real value.
• Engage in pair‑programming, code reviews, planning, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaboration with developers, product, UX, data, and stakeholders to design sustainable, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
• Improve solutions, technologies, processes, and operations continuously.
• Lead development as a full‑stack engineer: build it, run it.
• Approach complex tasks as challenges, break them into small, publishable increments (agile), find elegant solutions, and implement them with high ownership.
• Participate in a knowledge culture with mutual support, learning, lunch‑and‑lunches, trainings, and daily learning.

Tech Stack

• Serverless architecture with AWS Lambda, Node.js, CDK, S3, CloudFront, event‑driven with AWS SQS.
• AI tools: Cursor AI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Agentic Coding, Spec‑Driven Development, access to many AI models with FUNKE‑KI framework.
• Frameworks: custom TypeScript server‑side rendering framework, React, Next.js, Flutter.
• Development process: CI/CD on GitHub/GitHub Actions, isolated PR deployments, static code analysis, unit tests, Playwright E2E tests, ADR documentation.
• Design collaboration: Figma, Storybook, Tailwind CSS.
• Data & testing: GrowthBook, GCP / BigQuery, Snowplow, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience with the tech stack, especially TypeScript and cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Full software‑lifecycle knowledge – from development through testing, deployment to operations.
• Interest and knowledge in web and cloud technologies.
• Willingness to take responsibility and drive projects to success within a team.
• Very good German (C1) and English (B2) skills.
