Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our applications and services using node.js, nest.js, React.js and TypeScript.
• You will actively participate in the entire development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Your focus will include ensuring code quality, performing tests and fixing bugs.
• Building on this, you will continuously improve the existing code base and identify opportunities to optimise performance and usability.
• Together with your colleagues from the development team, you tackle technical challenges and find innovative solutions.

Our TechStack

• Our services implement REST and GraphQL APIs and we build them with NestJS and TypeScript.
• Some systems run on PHP, Go, Ruby, and Python, so experience with these technologies would be a strong advantage.
• The infrastructure is on AWS, Kubernetes and we also use GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
• For quality control, we have several PR review processes and place a high value on adequate test coverage.
• For API documentation and test monitoring, we use Postman.

Requirements

• You have at least two years of professional experience as a full-stack developer especially in TypeScript and Nest.js.
• Experience in developing web-based applications using modern development tools and frameworks, including the integration of APIs and work with databases.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles combined with hands-on experience in implementing responsive designs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as professional English skills and good German skills complete your profile.
