Zusammenfassung

Optimus Search is seeking a Fullstack Developer to help build platforms behind our publishing and media business, including content management, subscriptions, and reader experience. You will work on products used by a large audience.

Collaborate with editorial, product, and design teams; optimise for performance; support modernization of legacy systems; and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Fluency in German and English is required, with hybrid work from our Frankfurt office.

The Role:

We're a publishing and media company looking for a Fullstack Developer to help build the platforms behind our digital content, subscriptions, and reader experience, working on products used by a large and engaged audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop fullstack features for content management, subscription, and reader-facing platforms
• Work with editorial, product, and design teams to ship new features
• Optimise applications for performance and scale, given high traffic volumes
• Support ongoing modernisation of legacy publishing systems
• Contribute to A/B testing and experimentation to improve reader engagement
• Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Skills & Experience:

• Strong frontend skills, ideally with React or Vue
• Backend experience in Node.js or Java
• Experience with high-traffic, content-heavy, or subscription-based platforms a plus
• Understanding of SEO and web performance best practices helpful
• Fluent German and English
