Job summary

YourCode - Award Winning IT & Digital Consultancy in Göttingen, Germany, seeks a Lead .NET Developer to join on-site. You will drive the frontend rewrite to a configurable, data-driven UI aligned with a robust backend and microservices architecture.

Lead and mentor development teams, ensure architectural consistency between backend and frontend, and collaborate with backend engineers to translate contracts into flexible frontend abstractions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of .NET experience.
• 3+ years of React experience, including data-driven UIs.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, design patterns, and scalable frontend architectures.
• Experience transforming a UI into a configurable, data-driven frontend.
• Excellent leadership and communication to align frontend and backend teams.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign of the existing frontend from a single-setup implementation to a generic, adaptable UI driven by backend data and configuration.
• Own the architectural vision for the Full Stack solution and ensure consistency between the generic backend approach and the frontend implementation.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and architects to understand the data and contracts the backend exposes, and translate them into flexible frontend abstractions.
• Educate and align the team on why a generic frontend approach is required, driving buy-in through clear communication and architectural reasoning.
• Act as a mediator between company and customer technical teams when challenging decisions need to be made.
• Review code for critical projects before delivery to customers.
• Support refining complex project scopes and defining software design approaches for both frontend and backend.
• Document and present software designs using diagrams, presentations, and justification.
• Lead and mentor development teams, assign tasks, monitor implementation, and ensure high-quality code delivery across the full stack.

We are seeking a Lead .NET Developer in Germany to join our team on-site in Göttingen.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our team is working with an international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier based in Germany, serving the global biopharmaceutical industry.

Our company helps the client to develop software solutions for biopharma process automation.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in .NET
• 3+ years of experience with React (or equivalent modern front-end framework), including building configurable/data-driven UIs
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including Microservices, design patterns, and generic/extensible front-end architectures
• Proven ability to lead the transformation of a purpose-built UI into a generic, configuration/data-driven frontend
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align frontend and backend teams around a shared architectural vision
• Advanced level of English
