Our spin-off company fluid GmbH is a young and dynamic start-up, freshly founded in March 2025, developing a state‑of‑the‑art containerized application platform for the intellectual property industry. Our core product fluid - Protecting Ideas Together is a customized platform based on Java, Spring Boot and Angular that integrates seamlessly with leading IP tools, external services and official authorities. Our architecture is modular and utilizes microservices, messaging systems and a robust technology stack with AWS S3, Twilio Sendgrid, Kibana, Betterstack and GitLab.

Tasks

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer with sound knowledge of Angular to strengthen our engineering team. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Fluid's user interface and ensure that it is convincing in terms of user‑friendliness, performance and scalability. You will work closely with our microservice‑based backend and support the implementation of central functions such as translation management, state management and feature toggles.

Your tasks:

• Development, extension and maintenance of our Angular-based front‑end application
• Implementation of responsive and accessible UI components
• Close collaboration with backend developers working on Spring Boot microservices
• Integration of third‑party systems and APIs
• Collaboration with product and design teams to ensure an intuitive user experience
• Ensuring code quality through tests, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Performance optimization and scaling of the front‑end application

Profile

Requirements

• Proven experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Ngxs or other state management frameworks)
• Sound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind and responsive design
• Experience in the integration of REST APIs and in dealing with asynchronous data flows
• Familiar with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD tools
• Good understanding of performance optimization in the frontend
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced start‑up environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with internationalization (i18n) and translation management
• Knowledge in dealing with feature toggle systems
• Understanding of cloud‑based environments
• Industry knowledge in the IP or legal tech sector
