Job summary

The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) invites a part-time lecturer to join the Innovation Hub Campus in Potsdam. You will teach six hours per week for 16 weeks starting in October 2026, delivering courses in Business Law, German Legal Systems, and Applied Research, taught in English.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in German and international legal systems and in business and contract law, with a focus on research methodology and project management, and reside in Berlin or

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Business Law, German Legal Systems and Applied Research in university programs.
• Teaching in English to Bachelor-level students is required.
• Familiarity with German and international legal frameworks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct introductory and in-depth courses in Business Law, German Legal Systems, and Applied Research for Bachelor programs taught in English.
• Teach and support students in research methods, research design, and project management.
• Advise and supervise students on course projects and research assignments.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Team in Innovation Hub Campus in Potsdam on 6 hours per week for 16 weeks starting from beginning of October 2026, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Conducting introductory and/or in-depth courses in the fields of Business Law, German Legal Systems, and Applied Research for Bachelor degree programs, taught in English
• Teaching experience in Business Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Labour Law, and/or German and International Legal Systems.
• Teaching and supporting students in Applied Research Methods, Research Design, and Research Project Management,
• Advising and supervising students in course projects, applied research projects, assignments, and research-related activities,
