Zusammenfassung

ABB AG is seeking a skilled hardware engineer to shape FPGA-based solutions and SoC architectures. You will design VHDL-based systems, develop verification environments, run timing analyses, and validate hardware while advancing embedded software for microcontrollers.

You will collaborate across hardware and software teams and maintain ongoing system improvements. The role requires 3+ years in hardware development, strong FPGA knowledge, and fluent English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.
• At least 3+ years of relevant professional experience in hardware development.
• Good knowledge in FPGA design (AMD/Xilinx, Altera, VHDL).
• Confident handling of FPGA development tools (Vivado, ModelSim).
• Experience in embedded software development (PIC, ATMEGA, STM32, MicroBlaze).
• Good knowledge in hardware development and in hardware design tools.
