Job summary

Optimus Search is seeking an experienced FPGA Developer for the BW region to design FPGA-based solutions for medical devices. You will specify requirements, develop hardware blocks and verify customer requests.

The role requires 5+ years of FPGA design with VHDL/Verilog, strong digital circuit design and PCB layout skills, and fluency in German and English. On-site work in Baden-Württemberg offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years FPGA design experience with VHDL/Verilog.
• Strong digital circuit design and PCB layout knowledge.
• Experience with high-speed video and data transmission.
• German and English language mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create specifications and develop FPGA-based solutions for Medical Devices.
• Verify feasibility of customer-specific requests/features.
• Design FPGA modules for high-speed video bus systems.
• Set up and test circuits at module and system levels.
• Utilize SerDes, SDRAM and MGT technologies.

FPGA Developer - Up to €80,000 – BW Region (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Creation of the specification and development of FPGA-based solutions in the field of Medical Devices
• Verifying the feasibility of customer-specific requests/features
• Design of FPGA modules for high-speed video BUS systems
• Setup and testing of circuits at module level and in the overall system
• Use of technologies such as SerDes, SDRAM and MGT (and more)

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years experience in the field of FPGA design, VHDL and Verilog
• Excellent knowledge of digital circuit design and conception, as well as PCB Layouting
• Knowledge of high-speed video and transmission of high data rates
• Fluent in German & English is mandatory
