Ignite Next GmbH in Bochum, Germany seeks an FP&A / Financial Controller to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights for management.

You will coordinate budgeting, build forecasts, and develop P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow planning while partnering with HR on headcount and cost planning. Strong finance modelling and German/English fluency are required.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable field.
• Several years of FP&A, controlling, corporate finance or management reporting experience.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Excellent understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to identify key drivers behind performance.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, technology or high-growth companies is beneficial.
• Strong communication with different departments and senior management.
• Independent, structured and proactive working style.
• Very good German and English skills.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process across all departments.
• Build and maintain rolling financial forecasts.
• Develop integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow planning.
• Manage headcount and personnel-cost planning with HR.
• Analyze actual results vs budget and forecast; prepare monthly management reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities and translate them into concrete recommendations.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Support medium- and long-term business planning.
• Prepare financial analyses for management, shareholders, investors and financing partners.
• Support investment and CAPEX decisions through financial modelling.
• Continuously improve management reporting, data quality and Finance automation.
