Overview

Founding CEO / Head of IPP – Off-Grid Europe (DACH / EU / Africa)

Hello future founder/leader of our IPP venture in the DACHS region. We are not looking for an employee, if you are looking for structure, this is not for you. If you need ownership, keep reading.

Off-Grid Europe will be scaling up operation of hybrid solar-battery systems with aim to establish ourself in the DACH region and apply this technology to ROW.

1 mWp range, realtime spotmarket energy purchase, BESS + PV, reduce peak charges, manage load shedding, future arbitrage options + potential for spinning reserve on grid operator level.

This opportunity includes equity in return for 110% commitment, its a CEO role and everything which this implies.

The Mission

The first market: DACH countries with expansion to rest of the EU region, each installation ranging from a few hundred KWH to a few MWH annual.

Our target is 1000 installation - we are targeting GigaWatt range expansion, we are not messing around here!

We’re hiring a founding CEO to build and lead this business. This is an ownership role — your performance defines your equity.

You will:

• Structure, negotiate, and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and leasing models
• Develop and operate profitable solar + battery portfolios for C&I clients
• Navigate German and Zambian utility frameworks, tariffs, and regulation
• Manage energy-trading exposure (EPEX Spot and regional markets)
• Drive execution with OGE’s in-house engineering, finance, and legal teams
• Build asset value through financial discipline and operational excellence

Your Profile

• Ideally a Proven track record in IPP, project finance, or energy asset development (2 + years)
• Deep understanding of German C&I energy markets and regulation
• Fluent in German and English (mandatory); French a strong advantage
• Commercially driven, entrepreneurial, execution-minded
• Ideally technical literacy in PV + BESS systems
• Bonus: experience in African markets, export finance, or carbon monetization
