Who is Hiring is seeking Forward Deployed AI Engineers who architect and deliver AI-powered solutions in client environments. You will design, implement, and evaluate end-to-end AI systems, from data pipelines to production services, working closely with clients and squads.

You will operate in fast-paced engagements, translating business needs into robust technical outcomes, with a strong emphasis on measurable value delivery and hands-on ownership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building scalable, production-grade software.
• Hands-on ML in production: training, deployment, monitoring; proficient with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong Python and SQL with clean code and good engineering instincts.
• Cloud/web experience with at least one platform (preferably Azure); secure web app setup; PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate AI agents to deliver production-ready solutions in client rooms.
• Shape AI breakthrough projects from PoC to MVP with real business value.
• Build data pipelines and ML workflows; deploy web services on cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Ensure integration with client systems and real-world robustness of deployments.
• Collaborate with clients and squads; take ownership from design to delivery.

We're looking for Forward Deployed AI Engineers who've realized the hole has changed shape entirely. You've already felt it. You're orchestrating, not typing. You're reviewing AI output, not writing it. You want to go further and so do we. What the role is about No playbook exists. You'll write it. You don't build from a distance. You sit with the client, understand their world, and ship solutions in the room. You're the person who turns a messy whiteboard session on Monday into a working prototype by Friday and make the client feel like they built it with you, not for them.

Here's what that looks like day to day:

• You orchestrate agents to build what teams used to build by hand: faster, sharper, at a scale that wasn't possible before
• You shape fast-paced AI breakthrough projects from PoC to production-ready MVP, ensuring they generate real business value
• You build data pipelines, run ML workflows, develop and deploy web services on cloud environments (preferably Azure)
• You support integration with client systems and make sure what we ship actually holds up in the real world
• You work embedded in one of our squads: close to the action, with short decision paths and real ownership
• You bring AI to organizations that need it most: corporates, Mittelstand, scale-ups, NGOs, and the public sector
• You help shape who we are -- internally and externally -- as a key contributor in a fast-growing company

What you bring

Engineering depth:

• 3+ years of professional experience building scalable, production-grade software
• Hands-on ML in production: model training, deployment, monitoring; proficient with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong Python and SQL: solid foundations, clean code, good engineering instincts
• Cloud and web experience: at least one cloud platform (preferably Azure), secure web app setup, PostgreSQL
• You run multiple Claude Code instances in parallel and feel frustrated when you can't
• You've created proper evals and let AI agents cook for 30+ minutes

Forward Deployed mindset:

• You are comfortable in a boardroom and a terminal on the same day and you switch between the two without losing a beat
• You build trust fast: with clients, with your squad, with stakeholders who are skeptical of AI
• You translate between business and technology fluently -- in both directions
• Comfort with ambiguity: vague requirements are your starting point, not a blocker
• German from C1 for confident client communication

Travel: This role requires being on-site with clients around 50% of the time. You're comfortable with that 'and ideally, you see it as a feature, not a bug.
