Zusammenfassung

OMMAX is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions. You will design, build, and deploy LLM-powered applications using RAG, automation, and modern AI technologies.

You will collaborate with Data & AI Engineering teams to deploy scalable AI systems in enterprise environments, and communicate progress to both technical and business stakeholders. Hybrid work with Munich offices supported, plus opportunities to shape strategy and outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or related field.
• Strong Python engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with LLM-powered apps including tool calls, structured outputs, error handling.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience designing agentic/workflow-based systems and DSU decisions (deterministic vs autonomous).
• Built modern web apps using React/Next.js; understanding UX for AI interfaces.
• Deployment in cloud environments; familiarity with Docker and CI/CD; Kubernetes a plus.

• You work directly with client teams to understand complex business challenges and translate them into production-ready AI solutions.
• You own the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from discovery and prototyping through deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization.
• You design, build, and deploy AI applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, automation, and modern AI technologies.
• You rapidly validate and iterate AI solutions based on user feedback, technical performance, and measurable business outcomes.
• You collaborate closely with Data Engineering and AI Engineering teams to deploy scalable AI systems into enterprise environments.
• You communicate technical concepts, implementation progress, and solution recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
• You contribute reusable AI assets, engineering patterns, and best practices that strengthen OMMAX's AI delivery capabilities.

What we require:

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; cloud or AI certifications are a plus.
• You have strong Python engineering experience in production environments and have built LLM-powered applications including tool/function calling, structured outputs, and robust error handling.
• You bring hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or comparable orchestration tools and demonstrate a strong understanding of RAG architectures.
• You have experience designing agentic or workflow-based systems and show sound judgment in choosing deterministic versus autonomous approaches.
• You have built modern web applications using React, Next.js, or similar technologies and understand UX patterns for AI-driven interfaces.
• You have deployed applications in cloud environments and are familiar with Docker and CI/CD; Kubernetes is a plus.
• You demonstrate strong understanding of enterprise integration, IAM, secure API design, and LLM-specific security risks.
• You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
