Zusammenfassung

actana-consulting in Germany seeks an aerospace engineer with a strong flight mechanics background to perform flight and ground performance analyses, analyze data for flight mechanics, performance and loads, and support testing activities.

You will plan and support flight tests, prepare compliance documents related to flight physics, and contribute to handling qualities, stability studies, aeroelasticity and weight and balance.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in aeronautical/aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the aeronautical industry.
• Solid understanding of flight mechanics.
• Good programming skills: VBA, Fortran, Python or equivalent.
• Experience developing new computational tools.
• CFD experience with OpenFOAM or similar.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.
• Structured, independent, solution-oriented mindset.
• Willing to support multiple functions across the organisation.
• Experience writing compliance documents.
• CV E experience is advantageous.

Your tasks

• Flight and ground performance analyses.
• Perform aerodynamic analyses and provide data for flight mechanics, performance and loads.
• Perform analyses for determining the handling qualities and stability characteristics.
• Preparation and analysis of flight test data.
