You have a clear idea of what you want: To contribute to the vision of safe and energy-efficient flying, in a team of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who are determined to shape the future of aviation.
This is what you can do:
Development & Integration
- Define, design, develop and modify the primary and secondary flight control system, including architecture, control rods, actuation, equipment, mechanical interfaces and installation requirements
- Derive, allocate, manage and verify aircraft, system and equipment requirements in accordance with the applicable development assurance framework
- Perform kinematic calculations, system sizing, tolerance and clearance assessments, loads/interface evaluations and technical trade studies
- Develop and maintain system descriptions, functional definitions, interface control documents, drawings, bills of material, specifications or any other design data
Certification & Testing
- Plan and prepare compliance evidences for the applicable Means of Compliance, including Part 21J design assurance and certification documentation
- Prepare, review and support aircraft and system safety assessments at system and equipment level in coordination with the safety function
- Plan, prepare and support design reviews, supplier qualification, laboratory and rig tests, aircraft ground tests and flight tests; evaluate results and manage technical findings
- Prepare and participate in EASA and other authority panel meetings, technical reviews and certification discussions
Technical Coordination & Supplier Management
- Prepare equipment specifications, statements of work and technical inputs for supplier selection and contracting
- Act as technical focal point for equipment suppliers, engineering partners and internal stakeholders; review and accept supplier data and deliverables
- Manage technical interfaces, changes, problems, risks, deviations and non-conformities within the assigned scope
- Ensure timely delivery and technical quality of assigned work packages; communicate status, dependencies, risks and decisions to relevant stakeholders
Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Develop technically robust solutions for production and in-service issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective action definition
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to engineering methods, tools and lessons learned
