Job Description

This is a full-time Fishmeal Operator role at sea on a fishing vessel operated from Cuxhaven, Germany. The Fishmeal Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and optimising the fishmeal production process in the onboard production facility. He ensures high product quality, safe operations, and efficient workflow within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment involved in the fishmeal production process.

Ensure efficient processing of raw materials while meeting quality and safety standards.

Conduct regular checks on machinery and perform basic troubleshooting when required.

Maintain accurate documentation of production data, quality measurements, and process adjustments.

Collaborate closely with other crewmembers in production, quality control, and maintenance.

Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean and organised work environment.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and share ideas with the crew.

Qualifications

Experience in a production or processing environment (experience in food or feed production is an advantage).

Technical affinity and the ability to operate industrial machinery.
