To support our German Team we are currently looking for a

Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

for the GBA Region (Germany, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands)

The candidate will work closely with financial leads across the GBA and wider EMEA region. The successful candidate will provide a best-in-class reporting and compliance environment with a focus on continuous improvement, accuracy and integrity across financial and tax reporting.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

GBA Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Finance lead and key relationship holder for the year end audit, financial statement preparation and submission.
  • Ownership of Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation, as well as month end balance sheet reporting and variance analysis.
  • Co-ordination of the GBA month and year end process, ensuring a timetable which supports local, regional and global deadlines.
  • Lead on all statutory and governmental reporting requirements.
  • Lead the GBA accounting environment, implementing and monitoring controls, accounting and reporting policy to ensure full compliance across both local GAAP and Group guidelines.

GBA Tax Reporting and Compliance

  • Responsible for corporate income tax calculation, filings and financial accruals.
  • Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with OECD and local requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies and cost allocation methodologies.
  • Review monthly and annual VAT declarations for the GBA region.
  • Monitor and report changes in tax legislation, contributing to the development and maintenance of internal tax policies and controls across both the shared service center and local teams.
  • Manage and support tax audits, inquiries, and assessments across the GBA region.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in forecast and budgeting processes, with a focus on tax implications.
  • Deliver training and information sessions to employees on relevant accounting and tax topics.
  • Support the EMEA finance and tax teams to develop and execute regional policies, processes and system implementation
  • Handling ad-hoc tax related requests.

Your Profile:

  • University degree, preferably with a focus on taxes and accounting, e.g. business administration, finance, accounting and taxation, controlling, (business) law
  • German Tax advisor certification is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 Years working experience.
  • Experience in tax regulations in Austria, Netherlands and Belgium is an asset.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong collaboration, adaptability, and project management skills are essential.
  • Experience with a modern ERP System (especially Microsoft 365) is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
