Job summary

Société Générale Frankfurt is seeking an experienced controller/accountant with banking sector know-how. You will prepare regular branch controlling dashboards on NBI and costs, manage month-, quarter- and year-end closings, and ensure bookings comply with IFRS, French and German GAAP.

You will support transfer pricing, collaborate with shared service centers in Bucharest and Bangalore, and coordinate project progress with your team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable education.
• Several years of work experience as a controller or accountant in a banking environment with knowledge in balance sheet analysis and accounting rules (IFRS, HGB).
• Interest in the product range of an internationally operating bank (incl. trading products).
• Fluent in English, spoken and written; German and French are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular controlling dashboard updates for the branch on NBI and costs, including controlling cost allocations and inter-entity recharges.
• Take responsibility for month-, quarter-, and annual-closing work and control related bookings per IFRS/French and German GAAP.
• Provide support in transfer pricing, update local file preparation, and follow up TP agreements for completeness and documentation.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Collaborate with shared service centers in Bucharest and Bangalore; participate in accounting or regulatory projects and coordinate progress within the team.
