Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• At least two years' experience in a Big4 audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (HGB, IFRS or US-GAAP) and financial statements.
• Independent work style with time-management skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations using AI features, including GL maintenance and reconciliations.
• Drive automation in AP/AR cycles for timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on performance.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.

As a Financial Accountant (d/f/m) Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• oversee day-to-day accounting operations by utilising AI functionalities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations
• drive further automation within the finance department especially in our AP/AR cycles, to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
• prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• coordinate the financial reporting of subsidiaries and perform consolidation processes
• analyze financial data and provide insights to management on performance and financial health
• maintain and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
• ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements

What You Will Need To Succeed In This Role:

• a bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or in Business Administration with a corresponding focus
• at least two years of working experience in a Big4 audit firm
• very good knowledge of accounting principles (HGB & IFRS or US-GAAP) and financial statements
• continuous improvement and development mindset – always looking for ways to enhance processes and efficiency, and a never-stop-growing mentality
• ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
• advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
• excellent written and verbal communication skills (in German & English) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• strong analytical skills and ability to analyze large sets of data high sense of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
