AVATR Global Design Center is seeking a Finance Specialist on a 1-year contract, ideally starting October 1, 2026, with a possible extension. You will support day-to-day financial controlling and accounting in an international automotive environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a degree in finance or related field, 2–3 years of experience, SAP expertise, and fluency in English and Chinese (German preferred). Hybrid work and benefits are offered.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, preferably within automotive OEM sector.
• Proficient with SAP; MS Office, especially Excel.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team at AVATR Global Design Center.

This is a 1-year contract position, ideally starting October 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will support day-to-day financial controlling and accounting, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial processes and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast-paced, international automotive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and invoice ledgers by ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments, including the collection, verification, and submission of payment‑related documents and applications.
• Support the finance team with month‑end close processes, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and local German financial/tax reports.
• Maintain finance systems and master data, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the implementation and improvement of finance‑related processes.
• Facilitate effective communication with company headquarters, ensuring alignment on financial activities, updates, and strategic initiatives.
• Support external tax and audit activities by preparing relevant documents, coordinating requests, and ensuring timely and accurate information.
• Participate in various finance‑related support tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• 2-3 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the automotive OEM sector.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP software is a must.
• Fluent in English and Chinese. German language skill is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
