Atlantic sucht einen Finance Manager, der das Tagesgeschäft der Fondsfinanzen steuert: Portfolio-Monitoring, Cashflow, Abrechnung, Fund Accounting und Berichterstattung. Sie berichten direkt an den Head of Finance und arbeiten eng mit unseren Partnern, dem Fund Administrator und dem Steuerberaterteam zusammen.

Ziel ist Automatisierung: Prozesse automatisieren, KI-gestützte Auswertungen erstellen und den Finanzdatenfluss transparent machen.

Qualifications

• Fund finance Erfahrung bevorzugt, ideal in VC/PE oder Fondsverwaltung.
• Fund accounting and reporting Kenntnisse, mit regulatorischen Anforderungen vertraut.
• AI-first mindset, Automatisierung von Finanzprozessen nutzen.
• Daten in Insights umsetzen, geschäftliche Entscheidungen unterstützen.
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Zahlenverantwortung und Genauigkeit.

Responsibilities

The role

As our Finance Manager, you'll run the day-to-day of Atlantic's fund finance: across portfolio monitoring, cash flow and invoicing, fund accounting and reporting, compliance, and special projects. You'll report directly to our Head of Finance and work closely with our Partners, our fund administrator and our tax advisor.

Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll have a clear mandate to automate. The goal is to cut manual work in half and let portfolio insights surface on their own. If building the finance function of a modern VC sounds better than maintaining one, read on.

What you'll own

Automation. You develop our existing setup, and automate finance and administrative workflows wherever it adds value.

Portfolio monitoring. You collect the reporting from our 150+ portfolio companies and use AI to turn the data into insights that the team can act on.

Cash flow and invoicing. You manage liquidity planning, management fees and invoicing across our funds and management company, and support capital calls and distributions.

Fund accounting and reporting. You review the work of our fund administrator and support the preparation of quarterly LP reports, annual financial statements and tax filings.

Compliance. You keep our funds and management company compliant, from regulatory reporting to KYC/AML checks.

Special projects. You take on ad hoc projects across finance, from new reporting requirements to supporting FX management.

About you

You’ll feel at home here if you:

• Learned finance where the bar is high. Maybe in fund finance at a VC or PE firm, at a fund administrator, in Big Four audit or advisory, or in a strong controlling team.

• Know your accounting inside out, and enjoy putting it to work on a fund

• Think AI-first. Claude is already part of your workday, and anything you do twice, you want to automate

• Love turning data into insight, not just reconciling it

• Own your numbers. You work independently, follow through, and double-check because you care

• Roll up your sleeves. You're as happy running payments today as building the automation that runs them tomorrow

• Are curious about startups, deep tech and the founders building them

• Speak fluent German and English
