Twentyfour Industries is seeking a Finance Engineer to own finance workflows, automate accounting, manage data flows and visualisation. You will report to the Head of Finance and help design scalable systems for a fast-growing defense-tech company.

We operate with an AI-first stack, leveraging modern tooling from day one, including Light, Claude-like AI, and an ERP/integration platform. Join a cross-functional team to own the finance outcome and drive data alignment across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in finance systems, finance engineering, data analysis or business operations.
• Experience implementing or heavily configuring finance systems of record.
• Fluency with scripts, APIs and automation workflows.

• Build and maintain data pipelines from multiple sources into a central data lake.
• Improve reporting and visualisation: BI, dashboards, data models, KPI infrastructure and management reporting.
• Own accounting automation across close, reconciliations, AP/AR and intercompany flows.
• Support infrastructure behind month-end close; ensure data flows to reporting.
• Coordinate with AI Architecture team on ERP and integration platform; align data.
• Build AI agents, validation logic and automation frameworks to reduce manual work in close and reporting.
• Provide FP&A with a technical layer: inputs, actual pulls, variance data and dashboards.

Twentyfour Industries is growing fast, and our finance function needs to scale with it. We're looking for a Finance Engineer to own our finance workflows, accounting automation, data flows and data visualisation. You'll report to our Head of Finance and help design the systems that let the business scale.

We're AI-first. We use Claude and Lovable heavily, and our finance stack runs on Light, so you'll be building with modern tooling from day one. Our dedicated AI Architecture team owns the ERP and platform layer and supports you on cross-functional topics. You own the finance outcome.

The day-to-day

• Build and maintain data pipelines that bring multiple sources into a central data lake
• Improve reporting and visualisation: BI, dashboards, data models, KPI infrastructure and management reporting
• Own accounting automation across close, reconciliations, AP/AR and intercompany flows
• Support the infrastructure behind month-end close, so data flows correctly from source systems to reporting
• Keep our finance systems aligned with the AI Architecture team, which delivers the ERP and integration platform
• Build AI agents, validation logic and automation frameworks that remove repetitive manual work from close, reconciliations and reporting
• Give FP&A the technical layer it needs: model inputs, automated pulls of actuals, variance data and dashboard infrastructure
• Work with the AI Architecture team on ERP, APIs and workflow orchestration. They own the platform, you own the finance outcome and the data alignment

You should apply if you

• Have 3–5 years of experience in finance systems, finance engineering, data analysis or business operations
• Have implemented, or heavily configured, finance systems of record
• Are comfortable writing scripts, working with APIs and building automation workflows
• Have worked in Microsoft / Azure environments
• Take ownership and want to shape, maintain and improve how our team and business operate
• Like working across teams and would rather build with others than build platform infrastructure alone
• Do well in a fast-scaling, sometimes ambiguous environment, and are eager to understand finance processes and turn them into systems
• Speak English fluently (C1) and German at B2 level or higher

Nice to haves

• Hands-on experience with Light or a similar AI-native finance platform (e.g. Rillet, Campfire)
• Experience with BI tools
• Exposure to AI agent or automation frameworks for finance workflows
• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and intercompany data flows
