About Our Client

The client is a globally active company based in Wetzlar, specializing in the development and production of tools and electronic components.

Job Description

• Budget planning and controlling: Creating and monitoring budgets, analyzing deviations at the cost center level, and coordinating with departments.
• Calculation & proposal management: Supporting proposal creation according to corporate guidelines, monitoring calculations, and preparing post-calculations.
• Financial closing & corporate planning: Assisting with quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB, and supporting annual and medium-term planning.
• Cost accounting: Creating, monitoring, and updating the operational cost sheet (BAB).
• Inventory valuation & provisions: Valuing inventories and adjusting provisions in compliance with corporate policies.
• Liquidity management: Planning and controlling liquidity and actively supporting receivables management.
• Analysis & reporting: Preparing insightful analyses, ad-hoc evaluations, and monthly reports.
• Process optimization: Improving reporting systems and implementing new solutions within the company.

The Successful Applicant

• Completed commercial training, degree in economics, or comparable qualification with controlling affinity.
• Extensive experience in cost and performance accounting, financial statements, and project management.
• At least 5 years of controlling experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in toolmaking.
• IT and numerical affinity, proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, high attention to detail, and quick comprehension.
• Strong initiative, communication skills, and team orientation.
• Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
