This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking to continue developing their accounting career. Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical accuracy.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
• Comfortable in a high-volume transactional environment.

Aufgaben

• Raising and issuing customer invoices.
• Processing credit notes and customer account adjustments.
• Managing customer finance inbox queries.
• Communicating with customers via email and telephone in German and English.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities and maintaining records.
• Assisting with month-end finance processes.
• Handling high transaction volumes while maintaining accuracy.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a private equity-backed business to recruit a German Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team in Mainz, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Raising and issuing customer invoices
• Processing credit notes and customer account adjustments
• Managing customer finance inbox queries
• Communicating with customers via email and telephone in both German and English
• Supporting accounts receivable activities and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with month-end finance processes
• Working with high volumes of transactions while maintaining accuracy
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties

About You

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• 2-3 years' experience within a finance or accounting role
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working in a high-volume transactional finance environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant or currently studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Open to candidates pursuing different accounting qualifications
