We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to be a financial linchpin at ng-voice. In this role, you'll ensure financial integrity, strategic plan alignment, and manage the business’s financial rhythm—all while thriving in a high-growth, tech-driven environment.
Tasks
What you\'ll do
- Financial Strategy & Reporting
- Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, KPI dashboards, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Provide insightful financial commentary and recommendations influencing key strategic decisions.
- Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee full-cycle accounting: GL, AP/AR, asset management, and closing processes—ensuring accuracy and adherence to German GAAP and IFRS.
- Supervise accurate, timely financial close and reporting
- Manage audits, tax filings, and ensure financial compliance across jurisdictions (Germany, Europe, global clients).
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support annual budgeting and long-range financial modeling with scenario planning.
- Own quarterly re-forecasting efforts
- Cash Flow & Treasury
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity forecasts, billing, collections, and banking relationships.
- Drive optimal working capital management.
- Financial Systems & Controls
- Identify, document, and strengthen financial processes and controls, including automated data flows or ERP enhancements.
- Recommend and drive improvements to financial systems to support scale with trust and ownership mindset.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations/Deployment, and Leadership to align finance strategy with strategic initiatives.
- Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Work alongside the VP of finance in support of commercial discussions, key investment projects and funding rounds.
Requirements
Our ideal new colleague
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in accounting or finance management—preferably in SaaS, telecom, or high-growth tech companies.
- Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting/consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) strongly preferred, bringing deep expertise in audits, controls, compliance, and exposure to multinational clients.
- Solid exposure to (SaaS based) financial modeling and financial KPIs
- Experience in fast-scaling, global companies preferred; telecom/IMS background a plus
Technical Skills/ Tech Savy:
- Proficient in ERP/financial systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, Oracle NetSuite); experience with cloud-native SaaS revenue models is a plus.
- Advanced Excel abilities; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools beneficial.
Compliance Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP/IFRS standards, VAT regulations, and international tax considerations.
