The Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing optimal on-site support for confocal and widefield microscope systems. As part of our Field Service team, you support users and research teams in life sciences, work independently, and solve technical problems with a strong customer focus. This position reports to the Area Service Manager and is part of the Field Service Team DACH and working remotely to cover the region the Cologne/Ruhrgebiet and adjacent regions in Germany.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role Ability to travel frequently within the assigned Cologne/Ruhrgebiet territory and to other locations as required, including occasional overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Ability to work safely at customer sites and to handle service tools, spare parts, and system components in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
